As Director of Communications at the Fund for Global Human Rights, Tom leads a team of comms specialists focused on building the organization’s profile with key external audiences, amplifying the stories and demands of human rights movements around the world, and influencing other funders to be more movement-centric in their approach. Tom was previously Director of Income & Engagement at War on Want; a UK-based charity that campaigns for global justice. Prior to that he has held a range of roles at leadership and board level, including leading global digital engagement at International Rescue Committee. In 2020, Tom co-founded a grantmaking charity called the Article 11 Trust, which mobilizes resources for grassroots legal support and protest rights advocacy.
