Your user account
Who can have a Bond account?
Anyone can register on the Bond website. You can create an account here.
What can I do with a Bond account? Is there a difference for members of Bond?
A Bond account allows you to book onto events, purchase job ads, advertise vacancies, and more.
Only Bond members have access to our working groups community platform. You can check if your organisation is a memberhere.
If you’d like your organisation to join Bond, you can become a member here.
I cannot find my organisation on the registration form, what do I do?
If your organisation does not appear in the dropdown list in the “Organisation” field, you can add it by selecting “My organisation was not found” and completing the requested details.
If your organisation uses an acronym or has alternative spelling options, please try entering the full organisation name in the “Organisation” field before selecting “My organisation was not found”. This will ensure your account is linked to the correct organisation to enable member access, and it helps us avoid creating duplicate organisation records.
I cannot findI don’t work for a Bond member organisation, can I join a Bond working group?
Bond groups are primarily for Bond members and are one of the main advantages of Bond membership.
In certain circumstances, groups can invite non-Bond members (e.g. academics or businesses) to join if they can demonstrate the need to access external expertise or include key external stakeholders. The objective of bringing expertise and perspectives from outside is to foster innovation and cross-sector partnerships. Non-members can only be added to the online platform by Bond staff and are not eligible to become co-chairs of the group.
Please note, individuals working for non-member organisations that are eligible for Bond membership (including former Bond members) are not allowed to join groups. They might be allowed to attend a specific meeting – please contact [email protected].
How do I update my profile?
Once logged in, you can access your profile by clicking on the photo or person icon on the top right of the menu and selecting “Profile”. Here you’ll be able to edit your name, job title (within your organisation) and “About me” Bio. You can also update your profile picture and add a URL for your LikedIn profile. You will not be able to change your organisation.
I’m changing jobs and moving to a new organisation, what do I do?
To change your organisation and update your job role on your profile page, please get in touch with our membership team at [email protected]. If you can no longer access your account, please get in touch with us. Please do not create a new account.
How do I change my marketting and notification preferences?
You can change your marketing preferences on your profile page.
Notification preferences for your working groups can be changed via “Settings” which is accessible by clicking on the profile icon. You can also manage notifications by navigating to the specific group you want to manage notifications for and clicking“Settings” under the group banner.
Accessing Bond groups
Who can join a Bond group?
Working groups are only open to Bond members and are one of the main advantages of Bond membership. Our groups are inclusive and made up of a diverse range of members. Bond members can join as many groups as they wish.
Non-members can only join a Bond group in specific circumstances, and they can only be added to the online platform by Bond staff. There is more about this above, in the section “I don’t work for a Bond member organisation, can I join a Bond working group?”
Individuals working for non-member organisations that are eligible for Bond membership (including former Bond members) are not allowed to join groups. But they might be allowed to attend specific meetings – please check with your Bond contact.

You can sign in here by clicking the “Log in” button on the top right. Once logged in, you’llbe able to see all Bond groups and join.
How do I know which groups I’m a member of?
You can find a list of all the groups you are a member of under “My groups”, in the “Groups navigation” sidebar of the Bond communities dashboard, once you’ve logged into your profile.
How can I search groups?
Your “Activity feed” will show you all recent posts on the groups you are a member of. You can also navigate between your groups on the left-hand sidebar under the “my groups” heading. You can search all groups on the Bond groups page by clicking the search bar at the top.
What can I post in groups?
You are welcome to share anything that may be useful, relevant, or of interest to the group. This could include updates, free events, articles, research, or requests for advice or support.
We also encourage you to ask questions and start discussions with fellow group members. Groups are a space for members to share knowledge, learn from one another and collaborate on topics of shared interest.
When creating a post, select the most relevant topic label from the options below the text box. This helps other members understand the purpose of your post and find relevant content more easily.
What not to post?
To avoid a conflict of interest with Bond training and events programmes, we don’t allow the promotion of other trainingcourses or paid events on the groups pages. Jobs can only be posted if they are also advertised on our jobs board.
If you are unsure, please contact us at [email protected] and we can help you out.
Registering for events and training
Can I register for an event without an account?
No, in order to register for any Bond event you must create an account. This will ensure you are charged the correct price, as well as allow you to amend or cancel your booking in future.

Please contact us at [email protected] for events and [email protected] for our training programme.
How do I register for an event?

If the event is fully booked, you will not see the “Register” button, however for certain events there may be a waitlist which you can sign up for and be notified if any spaces become available. es, you can register for an event on behalf of someone else in your organisation. For group events, you can only register yourself.
