Laura Ragan

Laura Ragan is the Senior Director of Safeguarding and Global Human Resources Investigations at Mercy Corps, an INGO operating in over 30 countries worldwide. An experienced attorney, educator, and investigator, Ms. Ragan manages the organization’s internal global response to safeguarding and human resources incidents and previously served as a prosecutor specializing in crimes against women and children. Her team responds globally to reported incidents of child labor, child abuse, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, and human trafficking related to the organization’s operations. Ms. Ragan gained extensive international experience working for the U.S. Department of State in Istanbul, Turkey and Bratislava, Slovakia. She also supported the oversight of investigations and hotline operations for the U.S. Department of State, Office of Inspector General.
