Mustafa Al-Soufi is Bond’s humanitarian adviser. He is responsible for developing impactful policy messaging and advocacy outputs in humanitarian settings. With over a decade of experience working with international organisations and UN agencies in different countries, including Germany, Iraq, South Sudan, the United Kingdom, and Yemen, Mustafa has gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by communities in crisis.

Prior to joining Bond, Mustafa was a Youth Development Specialist with UNDP Yemen where he implemented projects aimed at empowering young people in the country. He also worked as a Livelihoods Project Officer with UNDP in Iraq, where he designed and managed programs to support vulnerable communities affected by conflict.

Mustafa holds an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS, University of London, which he completed with a Chevening Scholarship award. He is fluent in both Arabic and English
