Kate Denman

Kate has worked in education, international development and humanitarian programming for more than 18 years. With a strong focus on gender and inclusion as well as programme and project management. Kate has designed and delivered capacity building courses and programmes for many audiences including UNICEF, RedR UK, UNRWA, British Council, Plan International UK, HelpAge International, IOM, the Alliance for Child Protection In Humanitarian Action. She has worked in a diverse range of countries including Venezuela, Tanzania, Syria, India, Sudan and South Sudan.

Kate has also worked with attitudinal change programmes and has published numerous research articles about using Photovoice methodology to address gender inequality in humanitarian and development contexts.

Kate holds an MA in Education, Gender and International Development from Institute of Education, London.
