Duane has been working with civil society, development and digital issues since the mid 1990s. He pioneered most of the digital campaigning approaches still used today while first Oxfam’s eCampaigning hire in 2001. During this time he also organised the first Campaigning Forum event in 2002 which has continued annually ever since and also turned that into the Campaigning Forum online community. He has been continually involved in the crossover between campaigning, digital and sustainability and since 2004 has been running FairSay – a campaigning specialist agency. The last two years has been focused on JustPost (formerly PostBug), a platform for sending printed postcards not only to decision makers, but neighbour to neighbour for local organising.
