Brigitte Perenyi is a Development Story Producer and participatory storytelling practitioner working at the intersection of storytelling, policy, and power. With over a decade of experience across Africa, Europe, and the US, she supports development organisations, foundations, and mission-driven teams to co-create narratives that centre lived experience and inform more equitable, responsive programmes. Her work focuses on ethical storytelling, shared authorship, and addressing power imbalances in humanitarian communications—supporting organisations to move beyond extractive storytelling towards more participatory, accountable approaches.
