Aneurin is a young advocate and emerging development professional dedicated to supporting meaningful youth engagement in politics and policymaking. He began his journey advocating for issues related to gender equality and youth participation after joining Plan International UK, first as an Advisor and now as a representative on the Board of Directors.
At the age of 19, he was appointed as the new UK Youth Delegate to the United Nations where he has attended the 59th Commission on Population and Development to advocate for the UK Government’s prioritises regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights. He is committed to nurturing collaboration between countries, communities and generations in achieving sustainable development; drawing upon his lived experience as a trans man to renew systemic efforts in engaging with men, boys and LGBTQ+ people so that advancements in gender equality and SRHR are inclusive and equitable towards young people in all their diversity.
