Terms and Conditions: Bond Conference and Awards 2020

1.Bookings and payment 

You will receive an automated confirmation of your booking once you have made the payment. If you do not receive this email, contact [email protected]  

We will send you joining instructions, with directions, at least one week before the conference (unless we receive your booking later than that). 

If you make any mistakes when entering your data, these are your responsibility and Bond/CrowdComms will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by the supply of incorrect personal information. 

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you select a fee that you are not eligible for. In this instance, we will contact you to ask you to re-book your place and advise you on the correct fee. Your booking will be only be confirmed once this has been done. 

To be eligible for the discounted member rate, your organisation must be a member of Bond during the event, as well as the time of booking. You will be charged the relevant non-member rate if your organisation cancels membership prior to the event.  

Bond members with an annual expenditure of less than £500,000 can receive a 50% discount, thanks to the support of Islamic Relief UK. These discounts are on a first-come-first-served basis and can be used for one ticket per organisation, contact us on [email protected] for more information. 

To qualify for the super early bird and early bird discounts, your place must be purchased before the early bird deadlines. 

Group discounts are not applicable during the super early bird period. If you're booking on behalf of a large group (i.e. 10 or more), please contact [email protected] 

We ask all delegates to pay for the event in advance by card online. This helps us keep the cost of the event down. If you encounter any issues when making payment, please email [email protected] 

All online payments are taken through our secure payment service provider Stripe. 

All payments must be made in GBP (£). 

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards. 

2. Bookings from outside the European Union (EU) 

If you live outside the EU and want to attend the event in London, you may need to apply for a visitor visa. We strongly advise you to look at the UK visa authority website to answer any questions you have about entry to the UK. We are happy to provide a letter of invitation to support your application. We suggest you do not book your Conference ticket, until you have secured your visa. 

3. If we have to cancel the event 

In the instance that we have to cancel the event, except in an emergency, we always give you at least 2 weeks' notice where possible. If this happens we will issue a refund. We are sorry we are not able to refund travel or accommodation expenses. 

4. Refund Policy

All cancellations/refunds must be made by contacting [email protected] 

If you request a cancellation/refund before 23:59 Sunday 9 February 2020, you will receive a full refund.  

If you request a cancellation/refund between Monday 10 February 2020 and 23:59 Sunday 8 March 2020, you will receive a 50% refund of your ticket price. 

If you request a cancellation/refund after Monday 9 March 2020, you will not be eligible for a refund. 

If you cannot attend the event, you may arrange for someone else from your organisation to take your place at no additional cost. 

If you have booked a two-day ticket, you will be unable to split the ticket between two delegates across two days. 

If you have booked a two-day ticket and wish to split the ticket between two delegates across two days, we will change your booking to two one-day passes and charge you for the outstanding amount. Your place will then be unconfirmed until we have received the payment for the amended booking.

N.B 

There will be an official photographer on site. The photographs will be used by Bond and may be used on our website and in promotional materials. Please let the photographer or Bond staff know onsite if you do not wish to be photographed.
