Advocacy Campaign Award
The Advocacy Campaign Award celebrates strategic and inspiring campaigns that raise public awareness of international development causes.
We want to celebrate organisations that contribute to ending poverty worldwide by promoting policies based on equality, human rights and social justice that work for the poor.
We wanted to hear about advocacy campaigns that engaged and motivated people to take action and built long-term support for international development through influencing. The winner was announced at the awards ceremony on 18 March 2019.
Save the Children – Remember Rohingya
The Remember Rohingya Campaign mobilised 45,000 people to demand action from the UK government.

The Big Shift campaign galvanised people to tell banks to use money for good.
Malaria No More UK – Malaria Must Die & Malaria Summit London 2018
This campaign made malaria a CHOGM 2018 priority, leading to heads of government committing to halving malaria in the Commonwealth by 2023.
