Bond statement on racism, structural inequalities and injustice on the wake of George Floyd’s death

Bond, the UK network for international development, will work with our sector to stand against racism, structural inequalities and injustice. For too long, those in positions of power have silenced, abused and oppressed communities based on race, religion, disability, gender, age or sexual orientation.

We must address the systemic failures and root causes that perpetuate discrimination. Bond will play its part by promoting an inclusive and anti racist sector, that practices what it preaches.

Everyone should have the right to live with dignity, regardless of race, religion, disability, gender, age or sexual orientation.
