Bond statement in response to UK backing British aid organisations in the event of no deal

Claire Godfrey, Bond’s Head of Policy and Campaigns said:

“This marks a significant win for Bond and our members because we have been calling out the risks of “no deal” on the sector and the life-saving work NGOs do across the world for some time now. However, the danger is not over yet and we must work to avoid any negative human consequences. We still need a relationship with the EU that leaves the poorest people no worse off than before Brexit, and ideally with greater opportunities to escape poverty.”
