Zoë Abrams

Zoe is a strategy & communications consultant to the charity and government sectors. Prior to going freelance, Zoe was the Executive Director of Strategy, Advocacy and Communications at the British Red Cross for seven years, and before that the Director of Marketing Communications at Barnardo’s, the UK’s largest children’s charity.

Zoe spent a decade in Whitehall in the ’00s, working in no less than four government departments as well as in parliament. Highlights include overseeing the Ministry of Justice’s first integrated on and off-line marketing campaign, and she also worked at the Foreign Office, leading the implementation of the government’s EU communication strategy.

Zoë started her career when she was elected as the Communications Officer for Manchester Student Union. She is a self-proclaimed politics geek who studied at the London School of Economics.
