Simon is director of neglected tropical diseases at Sightsavers. He has more than 35 years of development experience in Africa and the Middle East, with 19 years in leadership roles for NTD programmes. Simon is also chair of the NTD NGDO Network, a member of the NTD Regional Programme Review Group, and sits on the Expanded Special Programme for the Elimination of NTDs steering committee.

He has made significant contributions to developing NTD policy and guidelines and has worked extensively with various governments to support national NTD strategies.
