Sam Whyte is a senior advocacy and public policy leader with over 20 years’ experience advancing social change across the children’s, human rights and justice sectors. Currently Head of Advocacy at Working Animals International, Sam leads the organisation’s global and national advocacy to transform the welfare of working animals and the communities that rely upon them.
Previously, Sam held senior roles at the NSPCC, LimeCulture, the Ministry of Justice, Unicef UK and the Children’s Alliance for England, shaping national policy on child protection, sexual violence, and vulnerability; and managing significant programme and funding portfolios. In combining strong evidence, stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership, Sam has a track record of delivering impactful reform, amplifying lived experience, and strengthening the systems that protect and empower children, young people and vulnerable adults.
