Nahedeh Rashti

Nahedeh Rashti is the Director of Safeguarding Support at Mercy Corps, leading the organisation’s global safeguarding country support across humanitarian and development programmes. She has over thirteen years of experience in safeguarding, child protection, and GBV prevention, working across complex and conflict-affected contexts including Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Greece. Her work focuses on embedding safeguarding into organisational culture, programme design, partnerships, and risk management. Nahedeh brings a strong practitioner lens to safeguarding, with particular emphasis on survivor-centred, practical, and context-sensitive approaches.
