Ibrahim Saïd is Interim Director of Think Ahead, a Geneva-based research association bridging research, policy and practice across humanitarian action, development and peacebuilding. He holds a PhD from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and a master’s degree from the University of Oxford. He has worked with UNHCR and UNRISD, and consulted for GIZ, NRC and other humanitarian and development actors on forced displacement, protection, solutions, localisation, conflict and violence prevention, and humanitarian-development-peace nexus approaches. He teaches on humanitarian action, migration, human rights and peacebuilding, and his recent work includes comparative research on localisation, partnership, accountability and locally led humanitarian response.
