The Center for Global Development’s Commitment to Development Index ranks 27 of the world’s richest countries on their dedication to policies that benefit people living in poorer nations.
The index measures seven different policy areas and adjusts for size and economic weight of countries. Sweden comes top, while the UK is ranked eighth with particular strengths in aid and trade.
