NCVO has created a new website to answer some of the questions the public have about the sector.
How Charities Work includes explanations of what charities are, how they raise and spend money, accountability and transparency, and how to get involved. There are also briefings answering common questions such as about the size and number charities.
The website is currently in beta and they are inviting charities to share their thoughts.
