Lord McConnell

Lord Jack McConnell is co-chair of the APPG for the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

He was the first minister of Scotland from 2001 to 2007. He first became an MSP in 1999 and entered the House of Lords in 2010. He has an interest in international development and as first minister he signed an agreement with Malawi to encourage sustainable development in the country.
