Kate leads Sayer Vincent’s consultancy services to charities, supporting them through change and re-structures. As well as looking at revising business models, Kate helps charities with governance and risk management. She also advises on trading, taxation and VAT. Kate also works with organisations on improving support functions such as finance and HR to ensure they add value and support the organisation's strategy and objectives.

Kate works with a wide range of charities and social enterprises including international development charities  and arts organisations. She is the author of several books published by the Directory of Social Change and Made Simple guides on the Sayer Vincent website.

Kate is a visiting lecturer at Cass Business School and leads training for Charity Finance Group on personal development for finance professionals and how to have a better finance function.
