Chair of Bond Board

Kate became Chair of Bond in January 2020. Previous Kate has held voluntary roles as a board member of the Association of Chairs, Charity Bank and Development Initiatives. For the majority of her working life Kate was an auditor and consultant to charities and international NGOs, having co-founded a charity specialist audit and advisory firm Sayer Vincent in the 1980s.

She is particularly interested in improving risk management and decision-making in complex organisations, leading changes in culture to increase levels of compliance with ethical frameworks and leadership development. Kate is an active member of a number of charity networks, speaking and writing extensively on a range of subjects including risk management, counter fraud, culture change and ethical compliance. Currently, Kate is the Director of Integrity and Ethics at Oxfam.
