Karla is responsible for leading the organisation’s advocacy, political strategies and relationships with Parliament and Government across a range of issues, including human rights in the UK, Amnesty’s global campaign on Human Rights Defenders and the human rights implications of Brexit. Karla has worked at Amnesty for six years, having previously worked for the Refugee Council, Centrepoint and education charities.
