Julian Eaton is mental health director for CBM Global, and assistant professor at the Centre for Global Mental Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
He is a psychiatrist focused on public health, and his work involves promoting greater access to health care services, social inclusion, and realisation of rights for people with mental illnesses and psychosocial disabilities, especially in poor and marginalised communities. He recently returned to London, after living and working in West Africa for 15 happy years, initially in Nigeria, and more recently in Togo.
