Jon Jacques

Head of legacies

Save the Children

Jon is perhaps most well-known for developing British Red Cross’s legacy strategy between 2010-2013, which saw its prospect pool treble in size and double in potential value and for introducing their successful integrated Legacy TV campaign.

In 2014 Jon moved to Barnardo’s as Head of Legacy Development where he developed the ‘Leave a vulnerable child someone to turn to’ proposition that ran through acquisition and stewardship campaigns with supporters and solicitor network, culminating in winning the IOF’s ‘Best Legacy Campaign’ award in 2017.

Jon joined Save the Children in October 2017 where he leads both Legacy Income and Marketing teams and is focussed on enhancing the acquisition, regional and will-writing aspects of the charity’s legacy strategy.
