Jezreel Hannah serves as the subject-matter expert on Child and Adult Safeguarding in VisionFund since January 2023. Ensuring alignment with World Vision, she is responsible in providing technical support to all 23 VisionFund-affiliated microfinance institutions (MFI), building capability, and working alongside MFI management to strengthen a safe and positive culture that prevents and responds to harm, including protection from sexual exploitation and abuse.

Before joining VisionFund, she served as the Child Protection Technical Programme Manager and Safeguarding Lead for World Vision in the Philippines for 10 years, providing technical guidance and hands-on field support in the design, monitoring and implementation of child protection programming and national-level child rights advocacy.  She co-led and contributed to various child protection and anti-violence against women and children initiatives that shaped national legislative agendas and strengthened civil society and government collaboration, such as the development of the Philippine National Implementation Guidelines on Child Friendly Spaces in Infectious Diseases Setting, Training Manual on Republic Act 10821 & Child Protection in Humanitarian Action and the Adolescent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Toolkit, among others.

Jezreel Hannah is a licensed Social Worker based in the Philippines, holds a degree in Social Work and masters in Community Development from the University of the Philippines. She also completed Leadership & Organizational Management from George Mason University.
