Franziska Schwarz is Bond’s senior adviser for sector safeguarding. Franziska works with CSOs, DFID and other stakeholders to secure sector-wide improvements in the quality and consistency of safeguarding in development and humanitarian aid. Franziska also supports the development and delivery of resources, tools and guidance materials, communications and services, which support CSOs to improve their safeguarding practice.
Before joining Bond she was senior coordinator at Local Trust and the programmes and partnerships manager at ALNAP (Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action). Prior to that Franziska worked in programme management and support roles at ODI and Amnesty International.
