Angeline has been VisionFund’s THRIVE 2030 Director of Operations, Strategic Integration and Partnerships since January 2024. She coordinates the activities of THRIVE 2030 , $70 million project between the Resource Development & Management team, VisionFund Technical Leads (FAST, EWV, Digitization, Agri/Business Finance, Inclusive Finance Group and Insurance) ensuring alignment with World Vision US, World Vision International and across 11 World Vision Field Offices and beyond.

Before joining VisionFund, she was the Global Sector Leader for WVI GC Livelihoods sector, resulting in WV and VF partnership with Dream start Labs from 2020 and successfully piloting of Dreamsave across 7 countries in 2021-2022; brokering and strengthening of partnership with FAO since 2011 and World Bank Partnership for Economic Inclusion ; updating of Savings Groups Design Guide and Implementation Handbook to align with current trends on digitization, microfinance linkages, women economic empowerment, child protection, health and WASH linkages and spearheading WV strategy on environmental stewardship and climate action including developing the policy and handbook. She also was the Global Chair on Compliance for the FAO International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) from 2019-2022 and a compliance committee member of the Treaty since 2011 and published a book: Biopiracy of Local Seed Varieties: Implications of intellectual property rights on smallholder farmers in Southern Africa available on Amazon.

Angeline Munzara holds a Bachelor of Laws Honors (LLBS) and a master’s in international relations (MIR), specialising in Women’s Law, International Law, International Environmental Law and International Economic Relations. She also recently completed her certificate in Microfinance with the UK Microfinance Institute.
