Building trust with communities and beyond

St James Room
Tuesday, March 19, 2019 - 15:15 to 16:15

INGOs connect with local people in different ways, whether directly on the ground, through national offices or with local partners. But do these models foster trust with local people?

This session examines how NGO delivery models can help build or prevent trust with local people on the ground. You’ll get insights into how organisations adapt their models to keep sight of the people at the end of the process, and earn and retain the trust of the local people in the contexts where we work.

This session is for: anyone who works with local people and communities within an NGO delivery model.
