Partnership Development Journey

A Child-focused Tool for measuring the progress of partnerships in terms of the capacity of partner organisations. The approach identifies six dimensions of change and for each dimension, provides a series of questions to help assess what stage a partner has reached, gather learning and identify how the organisation will support progress in the future.

Resource type: Assessment tool

Resource application: To assess changes in partners capacity in key areas over a period of time.

Basic assessment skills and ability to interpret answers to questions. Some parts of the tool would need to be adapted to measure the specific kinds of change the organisation wants to support. Useful for organisations working with children and those wanting to work on building the capacity of local partners in a systematic way.

Building Blocks: capacity development
