Better Evaluation website

Better Evaluation

Wednesday, January 1, 2014

An international collaboration to improve evaluation practice and theory by sharing information about options (methods or tools) and approaches. Founded by several international partners, the website gives step to step guidance on planning and managing evaluation and monitoring processes and links to multiple resources. Website can be searched for links to various Bond Health Check indicators as required.

Resource type: website

Resource application: Very useful website specifically covering M&E and international development. Potential resources for all indicators. International development specific.

Low to high skills. Website has step by step guide but this has to be followed online and also links to multiple resources of varying quality and content may be confusing for novice. Best to use this after having a basic understanding of M&E from a one-stop printed guide. Useful for those seeking more specialised knowledge or as a reference guide for searching specific resources e.g. requirements of specific donors.

Pillar: Monitoring and evaluation
