Tom Savigar is a senior partner at The Future Laboratory and joined the business in 2005. He works with the teams at The Future Laboratory to help clients such as Jameson, VF Corporation, Google, UBS, British Gas, Sony, Shiseido, Cadillac and DFS Group to create a better future.
Tom has been tracking consumer trends for more than 20 years and is particularly passionate about the emotional connection that people feel with the world, and how societies, organisations and governments will resonate more effectively with humans in the future. He frequently presents at conferences worldwide on subjects including the future of consumers, technology, urbanism, retail, luxury and marketing.
Previously, Tom was co-founder of Sense Worldwide for six years, where he worked with the likes of Nike, MTV, IDEO, Nokia, Reuters and SC Johnson. Over the past decade, he has taught fashion textile students at the University of Brighton how to identify and use trend insights in their designs.
