Tim works with the International Human Rights Programme at the Oak Foundation. His grant portfolio areas include human rights defenders, communications and attitudinal change, detention in counter-terrorism and immigration contexts and Myanmar and Thailand.
Previously at Amnesty International, he worked as Deputy Director of the Asia-Pacific programme, and as a researcher on South East Asia. He subsequently joined the International Commission of Jurists' regional office in Bangkok where he helped analyse Thailand's internal security laws.
Prior to joining Amnesty, Tim worked in the corporate sector as a senior research analyst in a political risk consultancy advising multinationals investing in Asia Pacific.
