Baroness Grey-Thompson is a former wheelchair racer and now crossbench peer. She will be delivering a keynote address on Monday morning of the Bond Annual Conference, speaking about the incredible work that the Sport for Good Foundation delivers and highlighting the power of sport as an inclusive medium to bring people together in development.
During her Paralympic career she won 11 gold medals, four silvers and one bronze, as well five gold medals at the World Championships and six London Wheelchair Marathon victories. Since retiring in 2007 she has become a television presenter and has sat on the board of various organisations including the Sport for Good Foundation, London Marathon and Transport for London. She is also an Academy Member of the Laureus World Sport Academy.
In 2010 she was created a Life Peer and sits as a Crossbencher in the House of Lords.
