Professor Sohail Inayatullah, UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies, is a political scientist at Tamkang University, Taipei (Graduate Institute of Futures Studies) and an Associate at Melbourne Business School, the University of Melbourne. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Futures Studies and has written more than 300 journal articles, book chapters, encyclopedia entries and magazine editorials. His most recent book, What Works: Case Studies in the Practice of Foresight is available to buy online.
In 2014, he gave the UNESCO futures lecture series presentation, Using the future to create resilient cities, in Laoag, Philippines. In 2013, he presented at TEDx Noosa. In 2010, he was awarded the Laurel award for all-time best futurist by the Shaping Tomorrow Foresight Network.
