Nasra A. Ismail is a development practitioner with over 10 years of international development experience in Africa, Asia and Europe.
She was recently country director of Somalia for Oxfam International and previously spent 8 years with the US government managing public sector programmes. Prior to that, she consulted in Washington DC, and managed large-scale poverty reduction programmes aimed at strengthening the capacity of local, regional and national governments in resource constrained countries.
She holds a Bachelors Degree from the George Washington University and multiple professional certificates from top tier universities like Harvard, Oxford and Berkeley.
