Initially from a fundraising background, predominantly at the British Red Cross, Lizzie Towl has now worked within the Save the Children family for six years. She spent almost four of those years in Francophone Africa managing projects and donor relations, amongst other things.
She now oversees Save the Children’s three Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC) projects in Mozambique, DRC and Afghanistan. These large, long-term development projects are funded by DFID and managed by Price Waterhouse Coopers. Lizzie is also the focal point for the GEC recipients’ Operational Working Group.
