Katie manages all of Women for Women International’s (WfWI’s) grant funding from UK and European donors, for projects across seven conflict-affected countries that support marginalised women to earn and save money, improve health and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support. Over the last four years, WfWI (UK) have more than doubled their income from grants.
Katie has been working in the international development and conflict-recovery sector since 2007, with a range of INGOs and a development consultancy firm. She has managed both grants and contracts with DFID and FCO, as well as with most European bilateral donors, the EU, UN, USG, trusts, foundations and companies. She has recently joined the Steering Committee for Bond’s Funding Working Group.
