Joy Green, Futures Researcher at Forum for the Future

Joy Green

Futures Researcher
Forum for the Future

Joy has been at Forum for the Future as a futures researcher since 2007. Her work involves Futures projects, which use techniques such as scenarios, visions, horizon scanning.

After studying physics at Manchester University, Joy went on to get an MSc in Virtual Environments, where chaos theory and boids (starling flock simulations) sparked her interest in complex systems, emergent behaviour, and unintended consequences. An interest in sustainability and development stems from her childhood in Kenya, where these issues have a direct impact on people’s lives.
