Jennie Richmond

Jennie Richmond has over 20 years' experience as a leader in international development, working on policy and programmes in government, UN, independent funders and civil society, and on humanitarian, long-term development and influencing initiatives.

She is now an independent consultant and in this role has worked with a broad range of social impact organisations providing strategy advice and support, programme design and impact, and facilitation.

Prior to launching her own business, Jennie worked as head of international grants at Comic Relief, and as deputy head of programmes and head of programme performance at OxfamGB, where she was a member of the senior management team that led the organisation's international programmes. She was previously head of humanitarian (CHASE) and head of the Andes Region at DFID.

In all of these roles in very different types of organisations Jennie worked closely with a wide range of partners, and has seen from different sector perspectives what is needed to make a strong and effective partnership that is more than the sum of its parts.
