Eleanor Harrison is a senior adviser who offers executive coaching, advice on campaign planning & policy work for a variety of clients. Previously Eleanor was chief executive of GlobalGiving UK, a digital charity working with 487 grassroots charities in 89 countries. GlobalGiving UK challenges traditional aid dynamics, using new technology to enable direct access to funding, skilled volunteering, peer learning and data for smaller charities.
Before working at GlobalGiving UK, Eleanor was the director of Action for Children in Conflict (2007-2011), a grassroots charity working with street children in Thika. Kenya.
Prior to this Eleanor worked for the Refugee Council developing and implementing office and community projects for refugees and asylum seekers (West Midlands, UK). Eleanor has also worked with young people in Uganda on HIV/AIDS issues, with rural schools in Western Kenya, taught in Bosnia and conducted research work in Australia and the UK for charities.
