Deborah Mansfield

Deborah is an experienced development practitioner, with particular expertise in investment climate reform, institutional strengthening, justice sector reform, women’s economic empowerment and the delivery of legal technical assistance.

She has worked with the Law & Development Partnership for more than 10 years and leads selected projects and business development, providing technical and strategic advice to clients and managing teams across their specialist areas of expertise and particularly in the areas of investment climate reform, commercial law and justice and women’s economic empowerment.

Most recently, as Team Leader of DFID’s Legal Assistance for Economic Reform Programme, Deborah has led an innovative, adaptive programme in 8 countries in Africa and Asia that has achieved sustainable results through delivery of legal technical assistance, including leveraging UK pro bono legal expertise.
