Andrea Solomon is Concern Worldwide’s programme director for Somalia. In her 12 years’ professional experience she has worked across emergency response, early recovery and longer-term development programming in Somalia, Republic of Sudan, Haiti, Sierra Leone and Burundi.
She has particular interest in fragile states, safety nets, resilience and accountability. Andrea holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies and an Individual Award in Food Security and Social Protection, both from SOAS, University of London.
