Abbie regularly advises third sector employers on complex employee relations issues, such as disciplinary processes, performance management, grievances and absence management, as well as assisting employers deal with data subject access requests from disgruntled employees.  Abbie is known for providing pragmatic advice in a clear and friendly manner.

Whilst Abbie’s focus is on resolving matters at an early stage without recourse to litigation, this is not always possible and Abbie is experienced in representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Having recently sat on the Board of Trustees of a charity and chaired its HR sub-group, Abbie is acutely aware of the challenges faced by the third sector, from uncertainty over funding to maintaining staff morale and retaining employees in turbulent times.
