Through long-term development projects, emergency responses and advocacy we’ve helped bring lasting change to millions of children, over more than 60 years. And as a Christian organisation, everything we do is motivated by our faith as we strive to reflect God’s unconditional love.
Work for World Vision UK and you will be part of a truly global Partnership, building brighter futures for vulnerable children.
World Vision UK is leading an exciting programme, funded by DFID’s UK Aid Connect fund. Working with a diverse consortium of both NGOs and the private sector, the programme is testing innovative approaches to understand what works in reducing the worst forms of child labour in fragile contexts. It is being implemented in Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic.
This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced programme manager to lead the implementation of the programme, working with the partners and DFID to ensure that the outcomes are achieved, risks are managed and evidence of best practice and learning from the programme is identified and shared.
We are looking for a candidate with experience of complex grant and programme management in a development or humanitarian context, with the ability to coordinate consortium partners effectively. Experience of applying monitoring and evaluation systems, and managing budgets is also required
As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
In addition to the salary offered, we offer good benefits including pension, generous holiday entitlement and free parking (MK only).
