DAI is looking for a Senior Project Manager, to work as part of their busy Economic Growth Team - part of DAI Europe’s unit delivering major international development projects. The position will be based within DAI Europe; located in spacious, bespoke offices in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, adjacent to fast rail links to London and southeast England.

Our portfolio of 200 projects in 100 countries crosses multiple disciplines. Our clients include the UK Department for International Development, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, USAID, the European Commission, EBRD, the World Bank, other donors and international lending institutions, and private corporations and philanthropies.
Responding to the needs of our growing business we are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for our Economic Growth Team. The role will principally involve working closely with colleagues to provide operational and technical support and link field teams to head office resources.
Candidates with significant, demonstrable trade experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
You will manage designated projects including start-up, monitoring implementation, managing partners, reviewing deliverables and synthesising lessons learned. You will manage and mentor junior team members; work with project teams and accountants and conduct project reviews and field visits.
You will be part of a team managing a portfolio of Economic Growth programmes across multiple donors and geographies. You will work closely with the rest of the team on building knowledge and networks and developing new business opportunities and innovative solutions across these rapidly evolving sectors.
