The Senior Programme Manager will be the focal point of Opportunity International’s £2.5 million Girls Education Challenge Programme. Responsible for end to end management of the programme from field implementation, financial management and control, compliance, partnerships management and monitoring, evaluation and learning as well as donor management through the fund manager Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) and match donors. The post-holder will be part of the UK Programmes Team based in Oxford

Excellent level of verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels. Facilitating appropriate information flow amongst staff and with key stakeholders. Keen negotiation skills.

Building and promoting constructive internal and external relationships. Confidence and ability to deal diplomatically at all levels including senior management. Strong networking and consortium building skills.
The post requires international travel, usually between 2-4 weeks per year.
