Want to use your skills in policy and governance to play a vital role in making clean water, safe sanitation and good hygiene normal for everyone everywhere?
Join WaterAid as Senior Policy Analyst to help achieve universal access sustainable water and sanitation services and changes in hygiene practice. On top of that you'll be joining a 2020 Great Place to WorkÂ® award-winning organisation.
The post is for a one year contract and is currently based in London. When post-Covid practices are resumed, the postholder will be expected to spend substantial periods of time in WaterAid's Canary Wharf office. Until then, this postholder will work from home.
This post holder will lead on WaterAid's public policy and global advocacy strategies that aim to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of the sector to deliver sustainable water and sanitation services for all. You will be energised by working in in a global organisation that has a local national and global reach in policy-making and programming across some 35 countries. You will have a background of working in policy-making processes in low and lower-income countries and a track record in delivering pro-poor change.
You will be a highly driven individual who is comfortable with analysing complexity and designing and implementing research and advocacy strategies that respond to the key structural weaknesses standing in the way of universal access to WASH. You will have an experience or working knowledge of working in developing countries or in fragile or conflict affected states.

WaterAid is currently located at Durham Street, Vauxhall. However, we will be leaving our current location in September 2020 and moving to 20 Canada Square, Canary Wharf. Therefore the London Office location and contract base, if you are successfully offered the role, will change. This will be discussed at the interview stage with you.
