Our COVID-19 Hygiene Hub (The Hub) is a free global service supporting governments and organisations in low- and-middle income countries to rapidly share, design and adapt evidence-based hygiene interventions to combat the spread of coronavirus. It is a one-year £1.2m initiative, jointly funded by DFID and the Gates Foundation.
The primary focus of this post is to provide leadership on strategic partnerships and donor stewardship for the Hub, including representation of the Hub at high-level policy and practice fora. Other areas of responsibility include providing overall programme management oversight and monitoring and evaluation. The postholder will have significant experience of managing large, complex programmes in Global Health /International Development, demonstrable success in delivering results, and strong WASH networks in policy and practice environments. This part-time post (0.6 FTE), based in London, is available immediately until 31 May 2021. The salary will be on the Professional Support salary scale Grade 6 in the range £40,011 to £45,437 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the USS Pension Scheme is available.
