This is a great opportunity for someone with strong research skills and knowledge of political issues interested in working for an organisation that campaigns for a broader approach to global security.

The Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is a UK-based organisation working to end the destructive force that is the international arms trade. The arms business has a devastating impact on human rights and security, and damages economic development. CAAT is a growing NGO with a supporter base that's expanding as global issues linked to the arms trade become ever more prevalent.

We are seeking a Research Co-ordinator to work four days a week. The main responsibilities include:

  • Providing research and analysis of UK government militarism in terms of its National Security policy;
  • Building on CAAT’s political influence knowledge of the arms and security industries;
  • Working with other staff to developing CAAT’s political influence browser;
  • Producing analysis, briefings and report on various issues.

The successful candidate will have excellent written skills and be able to plan and deliver work without supervision. In addition, we are looking for someone who supports the aims of the organisation and is able to work in a non-hierarchical setting.

If you would like to make a positive impact working alongside colleagues committed to ending the arms trade, we would love to hear from you.
