This is an exciting opportunity for a person with a passion for development to join the programmes team in a Christian international development organisation.

Are you passionate about international development, mental health and disability? Do you want to use your skills to develop sustainable programmes to support marginalised people in Asia and Africa, and help to improve their inner wellbeing?

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with a passion for development to join the programmes team in a Christian international development organisation. You will have at least two years’ work experience in an international development or similar setting, and a degree in either Development, Disability, Global Health, Mental Health or another relevant discipline. You will be self-motivated with the capacity to work on your own initiative, and will have excellent cross-cultural communication skills.

You will be responsible for the development of UK-funded programmes, supporting the capacity development of overseas partners and managing income streams from institutional donors. In addition, you will champion TLM’s work on inner-wellbeing and engage in national and global advocacy on NTDs (including leprosy), mental health and disability issues. You will be required to travel overseas for approximately 12 weeks per year, to undertake capacity building training, develop/monitor programmes and provide advice to field partners. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure.

TLMEW is active in 11 countries and we have over 50 projects addressing the causes and consequences of leprosy, ranging from health and livelihoods to advocacy, water and sanitation.
